Through this program, more comprehensive supportive services are offered to the children and families in Howard and neighboring counties of Montgomery, Baltimore, Prince George’s counties. Service offered: support of cultural interests, mobility and transportation skills, accessing available entitlements /resources, social skills (natural supports and linkages, participation in community activities), self-care skills (hygiene, grooming, nutrition, dietary planning, self-administration of meds), money management (obtaining and retaining employment, banking), therapeutic programming which includes behavioral self-management, impulse and mood regulation, anger management, and behavior modification components, and accessibility to on-site psychiatric and therapeutic treatment in our mental health clinic. Client must be a Medicaid recipient between the ages of 3-17, be in active treatment, and referral must come from treating provider (clinician or psychiatrist). We do accept referrals for PRP services of youth receiving therapy from another agency as long as there is agreed upon collaboration of care between agencies.
