HCMHA Services

Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) is a service funded by the county whose main goal is to provide crisis intervention services in the community. MCT is a partnership between the Howard County Police Department, Grassroots and DSG, Inc. MCT is a two-member team of mental health professionals who are able to go out with the police to provide assessment and intervention for psychiatric emergencies and refer the individual to mental health services post crisis. The MCT operates seven evenings a week from 6 to 11 p.m. Call Grassroots at 410-531-6677 to request this service.
